DREAM BIG

You begin the process of becoming unstoppable by dreaming big dreams. Since everything you create in your world begins with athought, the bigger the dreams you dream, the bigger the goals you will achieve. All successful men and women are dreamers. All peak performers are what are called “blue-sky thinkers.” They continually allow their minds to float freely when they think about what is
possible for them. They look at the unlimited blue sky above them as the only limit to everything and anything that they could possibly be, or have or do.
Successful people continually practice “back from the future” thinking. They project into the future several years and imagine what their lives would look like if they had achieved all of their goals. They look back to the present, from the mental vantage point of the future, like looking from the top of a high mountain down to where they are actually standing in the valley, in the present. They
then look at the path that they would have to take to get to where they want to be in the future.
By the law of correspondence, whatever you can clearly see on the inside, you will eventually experience on the outside. You should therefore visualize your goals with as much clarity and vividness as possible.
Visualize your goals intensely and create within yourself the same feeling that you would have if you had already achieved your goals. Visualize your goals frequently. Replay a picture of your goal,
as if you had already realized it, on the screen of your mind as many times a day as you possibly can. Visualize your goals for as long as you possibly can, preferably just before falling asleep each night.
Repeat these exercises of visualization—vividness, intensity, frequency, and duration—until your goals become absolutely clear, living, breathing, exciting, clear pictures in your mind. The more skilled you become at moving from the dream through the goal to the visualization, the more motivated and determined you will be. The more clarity you develop, the more courage and confidence you will have, and the more unstoppable you will become. The most important part of dreaming big dreams is for you to define your ideal future vision. It is for you to think about what you want before you begin to think about what is possible for you.You dream big dreams by looking into the future and imagining that you have no limitations holding you back from achieving anything you set your mind on.
Detach yourself from your current situation and allow yourself to dream. Pretend for the moment that you have all the time and money you need. Imagine that you have all the connections and contacts,
all the resources and opportunities, all the education and knowledge, all the skills and experience that you require to be, have, or do anything that you could dream of. Imagine your ideal lifestyle. Imagine your ideal job or income. Imagine where you would like to live and how you would like to spend each day, each week, each month. Imagine your ideal family life. Imagine your ideal state of health. Design your perfect life in every respect.

A LIVING MAGNET

The Law of Attraction says that you are a “living magnet” and that you invariably attract into your life the people, ideas, opportunities, and circumstances in harmony with your dominant thoughts. When you think positive, optimistic, loving, and successful thoughts, you create a force field of magnetism that attracts, like iron filings to a magnet, the very things you are thinking about. This law explains why it is that you don’t have to be concerned where your good is going to come from. If you can keep your mind clearly focused on what you want, and refrain from thinking about what you don’t want, you will attract everything you need to achieve your goals, exactly when you are ready. Change your thinking and you change your life.
“The very best proof that something can be done is that others have already done it.” In other words, the only question you need to ask about any idea is, “Does it work?” Does it bring about the results that you desire? Milton Friedman, the Nobel prizewinning economist, said,
“The only true measure of a theory or idea is your ability to make accurate predictions of the future based on it.”
There is a law in psychology that if you form a picture in your mind of what you would like to be, and you keep and hold that picture there long enough, you will soon become exactly as you have been thinking. —William James

MAY YOUR WAY BE ROUGH

Am very sure you are a bit perplexed seeing that the author said may your way be rough.
May your way be rough is a prayer we should always pray before entrying into a New year. Challenges is a way for shaping or bringing our mind into a state to think and work at it peak.
We never have a champion that is not challenged and is overcoming the challenges that makes the champion.
When we say may your way be rough it just saying may challenges come our ways so that it could make the champion in us.
Looking at the life of Nelson Mandela I discovered that he was a man that see a transformation perspective to living. After he was sentenced to 27 years imprisonment he became a legend every one want to imitate and he as also set a mark that can never be forgotten. Those that sentenced him made it a way to destroy him but it was an opportunity to stardom. At his burial 90 head of states was presence to celebrate him, infact no head of state has ever been celebrated like Mandela. He  was the only human allowed to call Queen Elizabeth by name. Thank  God his enemy pushed him to prison by making his way rough for the world to celebrate him today..
Taking a look also from the Bible for the story of David in the bible, thank God  for the anointing and the  the Goliath of that time.  David didn’t see Goliath as a threat but rather an opportunity to move to the next level in is career. As i was reading through my bible today i discovered that he asked the King what will be giving to him if he was able to conquer Goliath. We are always one person away from our long awaited breakthroughs and miracle in life, we only need to embrace the problems and move  towards our set   end in life. Life is a battle field and to become a champion you must fight to possess your possession In life.
Please let encourage challenges and those challenges will make us celebrities in the awaited year.........WELCOME TO 2014

Dont go to your grave with that potential

The wealthiest spot on this planet is not the oil fields of Iraq or Saudi Arabia. Neither is it the gold and diamond mines of South Africa, the uranium mines of the Soviet Union, the silver mines of Africa, or the oil rich part of Nigeria. Though it may surprise you, the richest deposits on our planet lie just a few blocks from our house. They rest in our  local cemetery or graveyard. Buried beneath the soil within the walls of those sacred grounds are dreams that never came to pass, songs that were never sung, books that were never written, paintings that never filled a canvas, ideas that were never shared, visions that never became reality, inventions that were never designed, plans that never went beyond the drawing board of the mind, and purposes that were never fulfilled. Our graveyards are filled with potential that remained dormant potential. What a tragedy! my heart frequently weeps as I encounter and observe the wasted, broken, disoriented lives of individuals who, years before, were talented, intelligent, aspiring high school classmates. During their youth they had dreams, desires, plans, and aspirations. Today they are lost in a maze of substance abuse, alcoholism, purposelessness, and poorly chosen friends. Their lives are aimless, their decisions haphazard. This enormous tragedy saddens me. What could have been has become what should have been. The wealth of dreams has
been dashed into the poverty of discouragement. Only a minute percentage of the five billion people
on this planet will experience a significant portion of their true potential. Are you a candidate for contributing to the wealth of the cemetery?
Dont go to your grave yard with that potential....die empty

SET ME FREE SO THAT I CAN LIVE

It was the moment for which everyone had been waiting all evening. The thunderous applause of the excited crowd filled the air after the mayor made the announcement, “ Ladied and gentlemen, it give me a great pleasure to present the Outstanding year award to Dr. Femi Oluwole, jr., for his outstanding service to the community”
A well-built young man arose to his feet and eye was on his as he walked confidently through the podium. Sitting at the table he had left were his father Mr  Femi  Oluwole  Sr., and his mother, Oluwaseun. This was the moment for which they had waited all their lives-  to see their son become all they have envisioned for him. As pride fills their hearts, they knew that no one in the room could understand their sense of accomplishment, satisfaction and fulfilment.
Mr. Oluwole had always dreamed of being a medical doctor. While his son was still quite young, the father had told him that he would do whatever it took  to see that the son could become the doctor the father had never been. Young Femi Oluwole parent had laboured at many jobs over the years and had lived without the convenience of life just to make it possible to see their son to attend medical school and to complete his internship. This evening made those sacrifice worthwhile, as Femi junior now brought honour and respect to the family.
As Dr. Femi stood on the stage, holding the microphone, the crowd rose to their feet. Cameras flashes and shout of adulation filled the room. Then, as the applause subsided, silence filled the room. Everyone waited for the respond of the brilliant doctor. For a moment the stood erect, posed to peak. Then his composure broke and, with tears flooding his eyes, the young doctor pleaded with his parent in a loud voice that mirrored the despair in his eye, “Please, Mom and Dad forgive me. I am sorry, but I can’t go on.”  Everything I have accomplished and achieved during this year has been done to please you, Dad, and to fulfil your life longed dreams. I have become what you you wanted me to be, but I have never become who I am. “In spite of the cars, home and other materials things I now have, my life is empty. I never wanted to become a doctor like you did, Dad.in truth, I hate being a doctor. I always wanted to be a Musician,  but you and Mom would not allow me to follow my dreams.
Please understand that I love you and respect you deeply. I know all have sacrifice to provide me with my education, and I thank you for it. But tonight I realized that I cannot continued living and fulfilling your dreams and expectation. I must start fulfilling my own dreams. When I accepted that award tonight, I felt like a hypocrite. Someone I don’t even know earned that award because I don’t know myself. I want to live I want to come alive. I want to be with what I was born to be. Please set me free and let me live
There are millions of Femi Oluwole Jr.,in our world today. Perhaps you are one of them. They are busy, active, dedicated, faithful, famous people who are accepted, respected, revered and admired. But deep inside, they are tired, frustrated, bored, disillusioned, confused, empty and depressed. Their lives are aimless. Day after day they go on smiling, pretending and living uo to an identity and reputation that is different from their true selves. The lie they live and their inner yearning to be freed from the tyranny that binds them are a constant source of internal conflict. This human need for personal meaning and satisfaction  is universal. Each of us must discover this personal purpose and pursue it relentlessly, or we will fail to live a rich, whole, meaningful life.
No amount of accomplishment can replace the power and motivation of finding your own special niche and working toward your dreams.
